Ok, my name is Martin Nelson, I am now 41 years old and have had a life long interest in anything to do with physics and space , and with old age I have been lucky enough to invest in my hobby and I have been actively imaging since 1999. I am a member of the BAA, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and member of the Worcester Astronomical Society.

I live in Worcester with Sarah ( the accused & defense witnesses ) , and our sons Rory & Harry along with (now ) 3 cats & 5 chickens. I work for a big IT company.

I have a HND in Software Engineering and an Open Science Bsc ( from the OU in 2008, which I thoroughly enjoyed).

Latest goal is to run a marathon, which is planned to be Snowdon in 2009, currently running half marathons in preparation.

I play the piano, rugby and cricket ( all very infrequently now :-). I like reading( a list of favourite authors will ( one day) follow shortly), cycling, walking, mountains and cheesecake.

The current hobby that takes up too much of my time is primarily astrophotography and photometry. I am also the proud owner of a 5" and 8" intes micro mn56 & mn86 and when the weather is fine & the children have not tired me out, it gives me views similar to the likes of this....please goto my Gallery for look at my latest pictures
